We finally made it to the pumpkin patch on Halloween day to do the hayride, corn maze, and all the activities we couldn't do when it rained on Margot's birthday.
Ford chose our costumes again. Both his and Margot's favorite movie is The Incredibles.
On Sunday, we went to the Hornets home opener, which included a ride on the light rail and a stop at Seventh Street Station for lunch. Margot passed out during the most exciting point of the game; we lost, so maybe it was a smart move.
My two favorite parts of the weekend:
Sunday morning, I snuck a fun-sized Twix out of Margot's candy basket. Margot saw me chewing and said, "What's that?" I didn't want to share (it was fun-sized), so I said, "Banana." Five minutes later, I crumpled up the wrapper. She saw the wrapper, and said, "What's that?" And I said, "Trash." She put two and two together, glared at me, and said, "Nana trash?"
Sunday night, as Jamie was putting Ford to bed, he asked him, "What was your favorite part of the weekend?" Ford tapped him on the nose and said, "It's a secret to you." Jamie said, "Well, my favorite part was watching you trick or treat with your sister. And seeing her run after you, and seeing you wait for her." And Ford said, "You guessed it dad, that was my favorite part too."
