Football Season 2014

Here are some photos from the nine Panthers and two Carolina games we went to this season.  Keep Pounding, Panthers!  Go Heels!

The game that was a snoozefest.
The game mom forgot to brush her hair.
The game Margot forgot to wear clothes.
The game we got to go into the tunnel and high five Cam and it was the best thing.
The game we posed for pictures instead of helping set up the tailgate.
The game early in the season when we thought we were going to be awesome :/

The game we all fit in a selfie.
The game Margot looked wise about football.
The game Margot gave her best Margot.
The game Ford wanted to blend in to the frat scene so wore a bow tie and took a #selfie.
The game Margot saw something the rest of the family simply didn't see.
The game where both kids were thrilled to meet Ramses.
The game Margot just couldn't get enough football in one weekend.
The game Margot had too much football for one weekend.
That same game.
The game where a fight broke out in the stands.
The game where we all leaned in.
The game Ford gave sage brotherly advice.
The game we all rubbed in how nice our outerwear was to Aunt Taylor.
The game we tailgated very literally.
The game where Margot just needed to take the edge off.
The pregame where Ford provided the entertainment.
The game that Santa handed the Panthers a Christmas miracle.

Happy Halloween from Scooby & the Gang!

Ford has been obsessed with Scooby Doo for 6 to 8 months now; I was thrilled since it was one of my favorite shows growing up.  We found the newest incarnation, Mystery Incorporated, on Netflix, and turns out Jamie and I love it as much as Ford - it references some of our own favorites, including Twin Peaks and Doctor Who (seriously, it's the best).  Every night this summer and fall we've played "pretendies," where we would be Fred, "Belma," Shaggy, and "Daph-a-ne;" we'll get traps from the trap store to get the baddies, then take their masks off to see who they are.  So when Ford wanted to be Fred for Halloween, and wanted to do a complete family costume, we weren't surprised.  Margot was in love with inflatable Scooby, so she willingly bought into the whole thing.

On November 1st, I asked Ford what he thought he'd want to be next year.  His response:  "Fred....Yes, I do think I want to be Fred.  For a lot of Halloweens."

OIB Oyster Fest 2014

The last time we made it to Oyster Fest, Ford was younger than Margot.  We were pumped to finally be back.

Of all of the picture frames (99% captionless), he wanted this one.
Making a lawn mower at the Home Depot tent.
Margot's new obsession:  Riv.

We played the duck game...

...we won a Scooby!
