Ford has certainly put some meat on his bones in the past month (compare the photos below to last month's)! In month two, Ford has started smiling at us, cooing has (for the most part) replaced his monster sounds, and he in general is a lot more aware and alert.
He went in to the doctor today for his first round of shots, which he h-a-t-e-d for about 5 minutes before he fell asleep. And he got a pretty cool Garfield band-aid out of it, so all in all, not a bad day. He measured in at 11 pounds, 13 ounces and 24 inches long, which puts him in the 55th percentile for weight and 80th for height.
I go back to work tomorrow, and Ford will start going to daycare, which, luckily for me, is only about three blocks from our office. It's been a good run of just you and me, buddy. Sadly, the real world is calling.
